Carlos Alberto is a meditation instructor and long-time practitioner with more than 30 years of experience in meditation. Since earning his teaching certification in 2016, he has brought mindfulness and meditation practices into a wide range of corporate, educational, nonprofit and community environments.
His work includes leading live meditation experiences for employees and teams at organizations including Microsoft, Facebook, Twitch, YouTube, The New York Times, Verizon Media, UBS, IBM, PwC, BNP Paribas, Neuberger Berman, Two Sigma, Essence Global, ADWEEK and VOX Media, as well as institutions including the Fashion Institute of Technology (SUNY), Columbia University, Cornell Tech and the NYC Department of Education.
Carlos has also worked with organizations serving diverse communities and populations, including the Administration for Children’s Services, Concord Prison Outreach, Californians for Justice, END Fund, New Voices Fund, and nonprofit and wellness organizations such as MNDFL, MNDFL Ed, HealHaus, The Well, Three Jewels and Ananda Ashram.
His teaching is grounded in making meditation accessible, practical and relevant to everyday life. He has taught students across public-school grade levels, led programs for professional and academic communities, and developed digital meditation content for broader audiences through platforms including Headspace.
As the founder of TimeToSIT.com, Carlos continues to develop live and on-demand meditation experiences that bring the practice of awareness into daily life. His corporate work extends that approach into the workplace through live, human-led experiences designed to create space for greater presence, focus and clarity.
