MNDFL SSSNS will always provide the fundamental basics of meditation in every class. The sessions are intimate group settings in a beautiful studio space. Learn how to properly sit and breathe in comfort. A themed guided meditation is provided to help ease you into getting in touch with the moment, for you to experience the benefits of a daily meditation practice.

A workshop designed to provide a safe space for men to gather and open up in confidence. Developing genuine support, inspiration, and a renewed sense of clarity & creativeness to face the challenges of modern man. Exploring what it means to live a balanced life by understanding the powers of masculine and feminine energies. Building the courage to face what truly matters in the moment and providing the accountability to responsibly lead productive lives with integrity. Setting seasonal goals in the areas of Personal Development, Family, Business, Finance, Education, & Community.

We live in a future goal driven society, that oftentimes loses site of the present moment. When we bring attention to our desired intention in the present moment, we can determine the quality of our life’s journey, independent of future outcome.

In this contemplative meditation, you will be guided in choosing how you wish to show up in life, by connecting mind and body with a quality or characteristic, that resonates with, and enhances your day to day experiences within your personal relationships and various communities.

SELF CARE

Our understanding of ‘Self Care’ determines the level of love we connect to, the life we live, and the relationships we experience. It also plays a role in our ability to relax, heal and be well. In this session, you are guided to connect with your felt sense of love for self. Coordinating the in breath, with wishing goodness upon yourself, and the out breath, with letting go of feelings and thoughts that do not serve the love you are worthy of. Afterwards, we then focus on sharing this ability to love and let go of difficult emotions, with others in mind, as a form of self care. For if others are not well, then neither are we.

THE MEDITATION LAB

This is a drop-in series of meditation sessions every Saturday afternoon.  We explore and  practice various forms of meditation for the purpose of increasing  mental wellness. In addition to spending time in stillness and silence,  there will also be opportunities for group discussion, as well as gentle  movement and/or vocalization. Whether you're experienced or looking to try meditation for the first time, we welcome you to  join this lovely community of humans, practicing together!

SUNSET MEDITATION

Sunset hour

Sunset Meditations Sessions are held in Chelsea, NYC overlooking the sunset on the Hudson River. Usually held every two weeks on a Sunday evening, as long as the weather is dry and above 67° (May -Sept). This is a great opportunity to bring your meditation practice outdoors and meet like minded people in a more social environment. If interested in attending, register to be notified of exact location, updates and alternative rain dates. 
Please note: These are outdoor sessions and you are reminded to check the temperature in order to dress accordingly. Cushions and blankets are Not provided for these sessions. Bring your own cushion/mat.

Monthly Men’s Group Meeting

Meetings are held on the second Sunday of every month.

SIT FIT

Fashion Institute of Technology - SUNY

Mondays & Wednesdays from 5-6pm (20min sessions)

SIT FIT is a weekly meditation session for students and faculty at The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). Every session is introductory, providing the fundamental basics of meditation. The sessions are intimate group settings in a beautiful yoga/dance studio, located in the Athletics & Recreation Dept. Learn how to properly sit and breathe in comfort. A guided breath meditation is provided to help ease you into getting in touch with the moment, for you to experience the benefits of a daily meditation practice. Available exclusively for students, faculty, and staff of FIT


Location: Fashion Institute of Technology, 27th St - David Dubinsky Student Center, Athletics & Recreation Dept.

Student ID required to enter class.

Sessions: 45min sessions resume in Fall 2019


PEACEFUL WARRIORS

After School Program

Peaceful Warriors offers exciting 8-week programs, designed for young humans in elementary school, aged 6-10yrs old. Children are taught hands-on concentration skills , emotional intelligence, and morality, developing the skills and ways of a Peaceful Warrior. They all creatively cooperate as siblinghood to support each others personal growth and consciousness. Once accomplishing the course, they receive a certificate of completion and are given the responsibility to peacefully uphold and utilize the tools they learned, in everyday life.

CONSCIOUS AFFIRMATIONS

This is a program designed to introduce the importance and power of how we view ourselves and utilizing positive affirmations to shift from limiting beliefs. Through a series of sessions the students identify with various positive qualities and begin to naturally take ownership of them and utilize these conscious choices in their everyday lives, in and out of school.

This is a private one-on-one consultation at a meditation studio, your home or place of work. It's an introduction to the basics and fundamental value of meditation. Learn how to choose an ideal location, and set up a personal meditation area, how to prepare, sit and breathe properly.  A guided meditation is provided to help ease you into a calm relaxed state, for you to experience the benefits of a daily meditation practice.
Customized programs and themed sessions can also be created to support your meditation practice.
